Inflation has risen to 3.1%, meaning everyday spending is getting more expensive just as household budgets are already under pressure.
Ask questions about wealth, wages, housing and the economy. Get answers in plain English.
Quinn is Equinomics' AI guide to the everyday economy. Ask about wages, wealth, housing, prices, tax, public services or why the economy feels the way it does.
Quinn answers in plain English, points you towards relevant Equinomics pages and videos where they fit, and helps connect big economic ideas to ordinary life.
Pick one of these to open Quinn full screen and start the conversation straight away. You can always ask a follow-up in your own words.
Quinn can unpack economic ideas without assuming you already know the jargon. If a technical term matters, Quinn should explain it as it goes.
When it fits the question, Quinn can suggest an Equinomics page or a curated video so you can explore the subject more deeply.
Quinn can set out what is known, what is contested, and who might gain or lose from different economic choices.
You can ask Quinn to go simpler, go deeper, compare two ideas, or explain how something might affect your household, workplace or area.
Quinn is useful for understanding the economy, but it can still make mistakes. It does not have live data, and figures that change often may be out of date.
Quinn cannot give personal financial advice, choose products, or tell you what to do with your own money. Avoid putting sensitive personal information into the chat, and check important information against the cited sources.
Quinn is an AI assistant for questions about the economy. When you send a question, it goes through Equinomics to OpenAI to generate a reply. A reference to the previous reply lets Quinn continue the conversation and understand your follow-up questions.
Your questions are sent to the AI service, so avoid including sensitive personal information or anything you would not want to share. The copy saved in your browser is there to keep your chat available as you browse, rather than for advertising or analytics.
Equinomics uses your browser's local storage to remember up to 30 recent chat messages, whether the panel is open or full screen, and the reference used to continue the conversation. This local record belongs to this browser; it does not follow you to another device. If it has not been updated for 30 days, it is removed the next time Quinn loads.
Use Clear chat in the Quinn panel to remove the saved messages and conversation reference from this browser and start a fresh conversation. You can also remove the local record by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Clearing the local chat does not delete information already sent to the AI service.
